Report a bug

Found something on the site or in your account that is not working as it should? Tell us what happened, what you expected instead, and how to reproduce it, and we will look into it.

This form is for technical issues only

If your problem concerns money in an open transaction, a suspicious message, or a security vulnerability, do not use this form. Those need a faster route.

Before you report

Try it once more

A hard refresh, or the same steps in a private window, rules out a stale page or a cached file surprisingly often.

Write down the steps

The order you did things in is usually the thing that lets us reproduce the problem on our side.

Capture what you saw

A screenshot or a short screen recording says more than a paragraph, especially for anything visual.

Tell us what happened

You can also email us directly at escrow@rbcpay.com.

What helps us fix it faster

Most reports come down to one missing detail. The more precisely you describe what you did and what you saw, the sooner we can reproduce it.

Please do not send

We never need these to investigate a bug.

What happens after you report

1

We confirm receipt

You get an acknowledgement at the email address you gave us.

2

We try to reproduce it

Our team follows your steps to see the problem for themselves.

3

We investigate

If we can reproduce it, we find the cause and work out what the fix involves.

4

We come back to you

You are told what we found and whether a fix is being made.

We read every report. We cannot promise a fix or a timeline for every issue, but a clear report with steps is the single thing most likely to get one made.

What belongs here, and what does not

Use a different route

Found a security vulnerability?

Security issues follow a different and faster route. Report them privately so they can be investigated and fixed before they are disclosed anywhere else. Please do not test against live transactions or against accounts that are not yours.

Reporting questions

Yes, if you gave us an email address and agreed to be contacted. We will let you know what we found and whether a fix is being made.
No. Security issues should be reported privately through the process described on our Security page, so they can be fixed before they are disclosed.
Possibly, but anything involving money in an open transaction should go to support directly rather than through this form, because support can look at the transaction itself.
Yes. Give us the page address and the steps, and an email address we can reply to. You do not need to be signed in to report something you saw on the site.
Contact us before assuming any reward applies to a report. Any arrangement of that kind would be confirmed in writing rather than implied by a page.
Report it anyway. A report that turns out to be expected behaviour costs us a few minutes. A real bug nobody mentioned costs everyone a lot more.

Need help right now?

If your issue is affecting an open transaction, contact support rather than waiting on a bug report.
Reports are reviewed as capacity allows. Submitting a report does not guarantee a fix, a timeline or a particular outcome.
